ALFORD MARRIAGES SEE ALL
The Marriage Page has been redesigned and upgraded and data added for AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, ID, IA, KS, MD, MA, MI, MN, & MT. States NE thru WY will be added soon and then a cycle of updating will begin. More emphasis is being placed on copies of Licenses & Certificates which can be accessed from the above SEE ALL link.
Henry Alford b. 1540 England married Julian Woodroffe. This is a genealogy, a real work IN PROGRESS, based on Rev. Josiah G. Alford's "Alford Family Notes" published 1908 in London.

OBFUSCATED FIVE YEARS - NOW FIXED
Five important articles published in AAFA ACTION #54, Fall 2001 have been hidden, since 2005, under a heading of Tennessee Research when only three pages pertained to Tennessee. The link was on the web page for Research Reports and Notes in the AAFA Data Base section. They have been scanned again, properly identified and linked as follows with quarterly page numbers in ( ):

DNA DICTATED CHANGES
Family branch assignments had been made on supposed genealogical connections that proved to be incorrect by Y-DNA test. Moses Alford b. ca 1810 was not the son of Jacob Alford b. 1761 as supposed. Assignments made for the following folks have been changed to MOS807--/!!!!!!LA. Their ahnentafels have been revised and replaced. They are in the list above.

GEORGIA Updated
This 90+ page compilation includes most Georgia obituaries that AAFA has not
published in AAFA ACTION, plus some that have been published.
LOUISIANA Updated
This 350+ page compilation includes nearly all Louisiana obituaries that AAFA currently has.
WISCONSIN Updated
This 22 page compilation includes all Wisconsin obituaries that AAFA currently has.
John Alford estimated b. 1696
This is an extension from 3 generations & 128 descendants in previous version to
6 generations and 1446 descendants in this version. It is not an UPDATE as such.
Some time ago we posted the computer genealogy of William B. Alford b. 1808 SC who may have
been the brother, possibly even a son, of Peachman Alford. Before that Lucille Mehrkam AAFA #0032
prepared an old fashioned "hand crafted" genealogy which was published in three installments
in the quarterly where it is listed as about Peachman. See these three parts here:
