L. E. Alford Collection
L.E. Alford died too soon to become a member of the Alford association but during his lifetime he was a major player in the Alford family history and genealogy community. He corresponded with many folks, including some who are in AAFA. For years he was seen as the person to write to if you needed Alford help. He corresponded with Gil Alford, the principal founder of AAFA, and before his death arranged to send him his Alford collection.
