            Gladys Alford Rockhold, age 83 yrs., at her home on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at 7:40 AM. Beloved wife of the late Ray Edward Rockhold, whom she was married to for 61 years and died within 47 hours after his death. [He died Monday, November 18, from SSDI and his obituary published November 19.]

            Mother of John Charles Rockhold, Thomas Richard Rockhold [AAFA #0616] of Plano, TX, Jane Charlotte Haydel, Carol Sue Rockhold and the late Robert Edward Rockhold. Mother-in-law of Nancy Lincks Rockhold and Craig David Haydel. Grandmother of David Charles Rockhold and wife, Christy, Sean Edward Rockhold, Mandi Rockhold of Plano, TX, Jeff Edward Haydel and wife, Judy of Starkville, MS and Cynthia Dawn Haydel. Great grandmother of Isabella Faye Rockhold.

            Graveside services for both Mr. & Mrs. Rockhold were held from Garden of Memories on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at 3:00 PM. Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 4127 S. Claiborne Ave., in charge of arrangements. Information: 821-8411.
