As new information or new pages are added, they will be listed below.
In most cases you will have the option to see the "whole thing" or just the updated page. Watch for the SEE ALL links to get to the whole section.
Issue #18 January 1987 This is the issue in which the idea of an Alford Association was first ever mentioned and in which it was announced. It also had many pages of information on Virginia Alfords kicking off the first AAFA project- Virginia Research. Included too was the first genealogy of John Alford who d. 1748 in Frederick Co., VA since the compilation prepared by the late Jewell Alford Gallaugher AAFA #0003 years before.

MEMBER PAGES
There is no single page where one can go and access all MEMBER PAGES. As they are created they are linked from the members list which can be accessed from most of the navigation bars at the top of the page. When there are so few member pages activated and 1395 members using that list as a departure point is worse than "carrying coal to New Castle." Therefore users should not expect to see a "SEE ALL" option for Member Pages.
Member pages are going to vary drastically from member to member. Most members will probably never even have one. While several have been created and linked none have been populated to any extent other than the one being introduced here, and it is still in early days of construction. If you have interest in Alford, especially ole Lodwick Alford you will want to visit this one often. It is for one of the most fascinating members we have ever had.
Mississippi Cemeteries were updated on 9 Sep. The update includes new records, updates from members, and new links to obituary as well as Family Branch files.
MEMBER PAGES For some time we have been working on member pages on the website but have never really been ready to introduce them. We will do that now beginning with just one member. Pages are active for several members but only one of them has been populated to any extent. As we populate others we will announce it here with a link.
Usually information posted on a members page has a place elsewhere on the website in which case the information will also be posted there and in UPDATES we will also list and link those unless they are basic items such as ahnentafels or genealogies which will appear on most member pages. If you have been to Robin's page then you know that there are letters and a pension linked there. There has been a LETTERS page as part of the DATABASES page for some time. We are revising that so that members who have a page, will be listed and linked from there but not their letters. Letters for which there is no applicable members page will continue to be listed there. See below for links related to this member page.
TEXAS Updated
