my Executor and for the purpose of raising such money if not already on hand. I leave my
Executor to select such property to be Sold for that purpose as he in his judgment may see
properly after consulting with my beloved wife Martha R. Alford Should she be living.
Secondly I leave to my beloved wife Martha R. Alford all the residue of my property be it
of whatsoever Kind during her natural life or widowhood. But in the event she again marries
then and in that case it is my desire that she only have a childs part and then at her death
to decend to my legal representatives.
Thirdly Inasmuch as I [have?] given property to the amount one hundred and fifty dollars
to all of my children that have married and left me. And there are yet other children that
have received nothing. It is my desire that they each receive as much at my wifes death or
widowhood as those who have already had. And then share and share alike so as to make them
all equal.
Fourthly I do hereby nominate and appoint my two sons Henry C. Alford and George W. Alford
