I Thomas Alford of the City of Harrisburg, Linn County, Oregon, being of sound and
disposing mind and memory calling to mind the frailty and uncertainty of human life,
and being desirous of settling my worldly affairs and directing how Estates with
which it has pleased God to bless me, shall be disposed of after my decease, while
I have strength and capacity so to do, do make and publish this my last will and
testament, hereby revoking any and all wills by me, formerly made and published,
in manner following, to wit:
First: I direct that my executor pay my funeral expenses, and all other Just debts,
due from me to any one, as soon as practicable.
Second: I give and bequeath the sum of One Dollar to each of my following named
heirs to wit:
My son William Alford, the heirs of my son Russell Alford deceased, my daughter
Elizabeth Rodgers, the heirs of my daughter Matilda Mansfield deceased, my son
Albert Alford, my daughter Minervy Mansfield, my son Thomas Alford Jr., the heirs
of my daughter Lucinda Lewis deceased, the heirs of my son J. P. Alford deceased,
my son George M. Alford, my son Isaac N. Alford, the heirs of my daughter Sarah J.
Leach deceased, and the heirs of my daughter Delilah A. Barnett deceased.
Third: I give and bequeath all the use, residue and remainder of my personal property,
goods, and chattels of whatever nature and soever, also all the Real Estate I may own
at my decease, to my beloved wife Emaline Alford.
Fourth and last: I do hereby nominate and appoint my son George M. Alford to be the
executor of this my last will and testament, and having full confidence in his honesty
and integrity, I hereby request the Court, not to require him to give bonds.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, at Harrisburg, Oregon this
21st day of May A. D. 1892.

The foregoing instrument, consisting of one page and eighteen lines, was at the date
thereof signed, Sealed, published and declared by the said Thomas Alford as and for his
last will and testament, in presence of us, who at his request, and in his presence and
in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
