Don has been a member of AAFA since 1988 and during that time he has attended most annual meetings and has provided AAFA extensive Alford information. His correspondence file contains over 100 pages even after having transferred some of it to Morris Myers when he became their Alford branch manager. Don served on the board of directors from 1999 to 2001. He was something of an organizer for his branch of the family and an active coordinator of branch affairs. He was one of the more successful AAFA member recruiters.
