HOTEL PET POLICY
The Holiday Inn - Atlanta Airport South:
gladly welcomes service animals at the hotel, but
regretfully does NOT allow other pets.
Thanks to Tom Alford, AAFA #1386, for making the hotel arrangements and signing the contract.
This year, the Meeting/Reunion will use a slightly different than normal format:
The Meeting Registration Package will be available next week.
- The day will be devoted to a visit to the Georgia State Archives in Morrow, GA or
attendees are free to visit any of Atlanta's other attractions on their own.
A lively (but not boring) Annual AAFA Business Meeting;
* * * * * ELECTION NOTICE * * * * *
Due to the passing of the AAFA President this past December, it is necessary to elect a successor. James E Alford, AAFA #1345, of Biloxi, MS has accepted the nomination for President. If anyone else would like to be nominated for this position or any other AAFA office, please indicate your desire by emailing the AAFA Staff (Click to email).
- Afternoon (or sooner if the business meeting ends early):
Family Forum where members talk about their Alford families and branches;
The Annual Dinner with memorial, recognition, etc.
Rather than a formal Banquet, we will meet at a local restaurant and each attendee will be responsible for their own dinner.
An informal show & tell, a question & answer and a good-bye & pack-up session.
