            Gretchen Rose Alford, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday [Nov 28] in Las Vegas. She was born July 25, 1928, in Little Rock, Ark. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.

            She is survived by her husband, Uriel B.; one daughter, Angie Alford, and one son, Mike Alford, both of Henderson; one brother, Henry Vogler Jr. of Little Rock, Ark.; and four grandchildren.

            Services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

            The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
