Augusta
Hulsey passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 in Yuma, Arizona at Palm View.
She
worked for the I.I.D. in the Heavy Equipment Department for many years before
moving to Colorado. She was a member of the Valley Christian Church, Eastern
Star and Oasis Shrine.
Augusta
was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Hulsey; son, Herschel Neal
Hulsey; brother, Jim Schooley; father, James Arthur Schooley and stepmother,
Winifred Schooley.
Augusta
is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Simpson of Imperial and Nancy Martin of
Brawley; [half-]sister, Roberta Peachey [AAFA #0763], Sonoma; sister-in-law,
Marie Schooley of Phoenix; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and
nephews.
She
was looking forward to turning 100 years old this year. No services will be
held.

Augusta was the daughter of James Arthur
Schooley and his first wife, Effie Sexton.
She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, El Centro,
Imperial Co., CA.
