Christine Schnitzler, 83, of Ottenheim [Lincoln
Co.], died Tuesday, March 27 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
A native of Highland in Lincoln County, she was
born Aug. 4, 1923 to the late Elza and Virgie Payne Alford. She was a
homemaker, a member of Fairview Baptist Church and Waynesburg Chapter of the
Order of the Eastern Star, and the widow of Charles Schnitzler.
She was also preceded in death by several
cousins.
Survivors include one daughter, Sue Ann (Tim)
French of Elizabethtown.
Funeral services were March 31 at the Fairview
Baptist Church with Revs. Mike Bell and Johnny Baker officiating. Burial was in
Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Larry Brown, Noah
Kirkpatrick, Gene Manning, Max Miracle, Willie Petrey, and Jim Doss.
Spurlin Funeral Home of Stanford was in charge
of arrangements.
