SANFORD—Catherine Moore Casper, 59, of Sanford, died Wednesday (10/21/15).

            Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home Chapel. Committal services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.

            She was born in Winfield, Alabama, the daughter of the late Willard Moore and Violet Berry Moore. Cathy was a graduate of the University of Alabama and earned her degree in English and sociology. She worked for several years as a paralegal in Birmingham, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia.

            She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Allen Casper; sons, Dashiell Aldrin Casper, Dylan Armstrong Casper and Dalton Amundsen Casper; sisters, Sylvia M. Mitchell and Jane M. Patton, both of Alabama and one brother, Willard Moore Jr., of Texas.
