Robert Lee Pangburn, a Redwood City resident and
the father of Brenda Pohl of Half Moon Bay, died July 29 at Kaiser Hospital in
Redwood City at the age of 70.
Mr. Pangburn was born in Sacramento in December
1930. He was a Korean war Navy veteran. He married his wife, Sheila Mae, on
Halloween, Oct. 31, 1959.
Mr. Pangburn worked for 34 years as an
electronics engineer for Varian Assoc.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Mae Pangburn,
of Redwood City; his children, Robert Lee Pangburn Jr. of Mexico, Rebecca Logan
of Mesa, Ariz., Linda Morton of Redwood City and Brenda Pohl of Half Moon Bay,
and five grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Shirley Holder of
Sacramento, and two brothers, Frank Pangburn of Chico and Howard Fallman of
Burbank.
Mr. Pangburn had requested to be cremated and
his ashes will be scattered at sea in a private ceremony….
