Memorial services will be at noon today at The
Harbour Methodist Church in Meridianville for Mr. Terry Fayne Alford of
Huntsville. Terry passed away on Wednesday [February 1] at Centennial Hospital
in Nashville.
Terry was a native of Gadsden and a graduate of
Glencoe High School.
He is survived by his family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Morgan
Funeral Chapel.

Terry’s wife Sharon wrote this additional
information:
Terry was
sick for a very long time before finally being diagnosed with AML leukemia and
having a stem cell transplant. He was very upbeat and positive throughout that
time with a very strong faith in God. His transplant was very successful but
just after his one year anniversary he contracted viral pneumonia and died of
respiratory failure. He is survived by his wife, 4 children and 7 grandchildren
with another grandchild on the way and many loving friends. He will be sorely
missed and always loved.
