            Mary Elizabeth Fulton Price passed away on Sunday, January 08, 2006, in Roanoke, Virginia. She was the widow of Jesse Taylor Price. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Clay Fulton, brother Edgar Wiley Fulton and sisters, Mildred F. Gibson, Marian F. Miller and Ruth F. Long.

            Mrs. Price made her home in Bethesda, Maryland for many years. She was an active member of the Sixth Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C. and many civic and patriotic organizations.

            She was a student of the Civil War because her grandfather fought in the Civil War. This avid interest in history and genealogy led her to leadership roles in many organizations: The Janet Montgomery Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; State Society of Colonial Dames 17th Century; Governor William Smallwood Chapter, Daughters of 1812 and many more.

            She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Jean F. and John E. Harvey; a niece and her husband, Jaye Harvey and Hugh B. Wellons; grandnieces, Lauren Beth Harvey, Hannah Ruth Harvey Wellons and Rebekah Davis Harvey Wellons. Also surviving are Alisa H. and Thomas Dick, Meredith Paige Dick, Aaron Andrew Dick, Michael and Betty Heazel, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

             A graveside service will be held in Fairview Cemetery 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2006.... The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.
