            Earl Johnson Alford, 84, of St. Augustine, died May 14, 2005, at Moultrie Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Alford was a native of Sylvester, Ga., and had resided in St. Augustine since 1950. Alford was an aquarist at Marineland of Florida, and a member of the Elks. Alford served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of Ancient City Baptist Church.

            Services: Noon Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. Calling hours: 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery.

            Survivors: Daughters, Lynn Gibson and Patricia Hubbard; six step-grandchildren and other relatives.

            In charge: Craig Funeral Home and Crematory.
