            Dolores Flowers Rhodes, age 78, of Daphne, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at her home. “Dee” was born in Ash, North Carolina and was of the Baptist faith. She was a lifetime member of the DAR Fort Bowyer Chapter, the Scottish Clan Ross and the Mobile Genealogical Society. Dee was a past member of the Secretaries Club and Women’s Club of Mobile, United Daughters of the Confederacy and was the past treasurer of ESRF. She earned her BS and MS at the University of South Alabama.

            Survivors include her husband, Craig Rhodes; three daughters, Tonya (Rick) Johnson of Timberlake, NC, Gayla (Gary) Compton of Norfolk, VA and Gilda (Greg) Boutwell of Robertsdale, AL; one son, Michael (Norma) Ferrell of Raleigh, NC; sister, Mary (O.G.) Parrot and brother, Johnnie Daniel; 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

            In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ESRF, P. O. Box 1796, Daphne, AL 36526. On line condolences may be left at hughesfh.com. Cremation arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home & Crematory of Daphne.
