Mrs. Elizabeth Thetford Mohle, age 87, of Olmos Park, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2005 after being diagnosed 2-1/2 years ago with cancer.

She was born in Groesbeck, Texas on November 23, 1917. In 1938, Elizabeth married Chester Mohle and they relocated to San Antonio, TX in 1948. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University and a Masters of Science from Trinity University. She taught at Woodridge Elementary and Alamo Heights High School, as well as a guidance counselor at Cambridge Elementary.

Elizabeth was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority, Daughters of Republic of Texas, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, Women's Club of San Antonio, and San Antonio Genealogical and Historical Society.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Mohle, M.D.

She is survived by her son, James Mohle, M.D. [AAFA #0933] and wife, J.M. Jones of Durango, CO; sisters, Madeline Roan of Ardmore, OK and Frances Cree of Georgetown, TX; niece, Darlynn Pittmann and husband, Paul; nephews, George Cree, III and wife, Nina; Harold Cree and wife, Sue; and Richard Cree and wife, Annie. Elizabeth was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family.

At Mrs. Mohle's request, there will be no service. The inurnment will take place in Fort Parker Memorial in Groesbeck, Texas....
