Alford, Travis A., 80, passed away June 22, 2012. He was born May 25, 1932 to Arnold and Lillie (Tigert) Alford in Caney, OK. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War in the 45th MP. Travis enjoyed bowling, running, and watching the OU Sooners play football.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bud Alford and Don Alford.
Travis is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Elizabeth Alford; children, Michelle (Michael Katunzi) Sani and Michael (Brenda) Alford; and siblings, Neal (Trecia) Alford, Bob (Ella) Alford, Jack (Janice) Alford, Carl (Vickie) Alford, Mary (Jim) Gay, Wallace (Vicky) Alford.
Memorial service: 2 pm, Monday at Pine Valley Christian Church, 5620 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67208. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Valley Christian Church or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
