MANSFIELD—Lee Roy Perdue Jr. 67, departed this world to go with our Lord in Heaven on Monday, October 18, 1999. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield [Tarrant Co., TX]. Burial: Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home.

            Lee Roy Perdue Jr. was born Nov. 26, 1931, in Munday to Lee Roy Perdue Sr. and Luna Mary. He married his lifelong partner, Glenice Jo Alford, on Dec. 23, 1953, and they had two children. Lee Roy retired as a quality assurance inspector from Hardcote Technologies. He loved the outdoors, taking care of his home and Prissy, his faithful companion when doing yard work.

            He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Sr.; his mother, Luna Mary; sister, Janice Fay Allen; daughter‑in‑law, Carolyn; and granddaughter, Tracy D’Ann....

            Survivors: Wife of 46 years, Jo Perdue of Mansfield; son, Danney Perdue of Mansfield; daughter, Debi Perdue of Arlington; brothers, Houston Perdue of Sulphur Springs and Tommy Joe Perdue of Grand Prairie; sisters, Theo Collinsworth of Grand Prairie and Joyce Butler of Seymour; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends….
