Lois was the active AAFA member—her husband,

Fred S. Reed, farm laborer age 46, age 33 at first marriage; his wife Myrtle

All were b. in TX.
AAFA Bible Records

probably in Tarrant Co., TX, since their son Edgar Reed Alford was born there
on 5 March 1944 [USGenWeb,
Tarrant Co., TX].

[Ancestry.com], William’s father Joseph Price Alford is age 38, an ice delivery

(dwelling #1067); their parents were Nelson and Jane Wright (dwelling #1065),
living next door to Mary Alford and their sons Devrix and William. [Dan Wright,
submitter, “Dan Wright Family” in Family Trees at WorldConnect, RootsWeb, 4 Apr
2004]
Dan Wright does not list another brother, who
would appear to be the deceased husband of Mary Alford (dwelling #1066).
Neither does he list a daughter named Susan, who married William Alford.
However, Susan and another brother probably belong to this family.
Lillian Lois Reed Alford’s husband’s lineage: William
Edgar 1919 TX1, Joseph Price 1880 TN2, Devrix Gilliam
Wright 1852 TN3, William 1816 TN4.
