Camille Willingham Izlar Crouse, 94, of Matthews
went to be with her Lord on September 9, 2013.
Camille was born February 7, 1919 in
Winston-Salem, daughter of the late Dr. Henry LeRoy and Camille Baynard
Willingham Izlar.
She was preceded in death by her beloved
husband, Wiley Harrison Crouse; son, Wiley Harrison, Jr.; brother, Dr. Henry
LeRoy Izlar, Jr. and infant sister, Marguerite Fries Izlar.
She was a 1940 graduate of Duke University and
third generation member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.
She is survived by her children, Camille Gaddy
(Jerry), Emily Creech (Gary), Mollie Heaton (Charles) and Mary Ross Caldwell
(Bill); daughter-in-law, Lindsay Crouse; sister and bRother-in-law, Ellen Ross
and Dr. H. Frank Starr; 9 grandchildren, Stephanie, Kim, Rachel, Bill, Robert,
Michael, Stuart, Keith and Brandon; great-granddaughter, Lily Grace.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will
be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 1PM at Salem Moravian Graveyard
“God’s Acre” with Reverend Richard Sides of Home Moravian Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Pkwy, Charlotte, NC
28201.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Danny Honeycutt
and the staff at Plantation Estates for their unconditional love and
compassionate care.
