St. Peter’s Parish Church

We published two articles in AAFA ACTION about this church that early Virginia Alfords attended. The first, a short excerpt from Stephen Dorsey,’s Early English Churches in America (1952), was “St. Peter’s Church,” in Issue #5, June 1989. The second, reprinted from the back page of the church program for October 1, 1989, was “St. Peter’s Parish Church,” Issue #11, December 1990.

 

The church now has an extensive website, including photographs and the historical text found on the back of the church program. Importantly because they are indexed and include Alfords, The Parish Register (1680–1787) and The Vestry Book (1682–1758) are also online.
